Engineers Without Borders-Palestine (EWB-Palestine): Since 31-7-2006 EWB-Palestine registered in Palestinian ministry of interior as a nonprofit, non-political and non-confessional association that acknowledges the importance of technological and scientific knowledge for a sustainable development of the world and the right of all people to this knowledge.
The mission of EWB-Palestine is to "partner with Palestinian disadvantaged communities to improve their quality of life through the implementation of environmentally and economically sustainable engineering projects, while developing internationally responsible engineers and engineering students". EWB-Palestine links engineers, engineering students and faculty with professional engineers to work on development projects worldwide.

EWB-Palestine is Part of EWB-International Group (http://www.ewb-international.org). and now its Co-founder and chairman serve as Member of the Board of directors in EWB-International.
Activities and Accomplishments:
• Building Capacity Project with Inccoperation with Palestinian Engineering Association • Free-Map Palestine (JUMPSTART-International). • Solar House Construction. • Middle East Engineering Education Initiative.
Issues/Challenges;
• Unstable political situation (Israel – Palestine). • Fund raising • Acceptance from local communities • Developing partnership with local and international organizations
EWB-International Collaboration;
• We believe that Incorporation of EWB-Int. will be helpful for us and will bring credibility. • Exchange experience with EWB-Int. members. • The existance of develping and third world EWB's in EWB-International gives more cridibility.
