The northern blind snake (Epictia teaguei) is a species of snake in the family Leptotyphlopidae.[2][3] The species is endemic to Peru.

Etymology[edit]

The specific name, teaguei, is in honor of Gerard Warden Teague (1885–1974), a herpetologist and ichthyologist who was born in England and worked in South America.[4]

Geographic range[edit]

E. teaguei is found in northern Peru.[1]

Reproduction[edit]

E. teaguei is oviparous.[1]
