James Eric Weaver (born August 4, 1973, in Springfield, Illinois) is a former Major League Baseball pitcher.

Signed by the Los Angeles Dodgers as an amateur free agent in 1991, Weaver made his Major League Baseball debut with the Los Angeles Dodgers on May 30, 1998, and appeared in his final game on August 17, 2000.

He is married to his high school sweetheart, Erica, and they have two children, Tristan and Nicole.

Weaver is currently a financial advisor for the Bank of Springfield and is the pitching coach for Auburn High School in Auburn, Illinois, where he currently resides.[citation needed]
