Erik Heil (born 10 August 1989) is a German sailor. He competes in the 49er and has won a place in the Qualification for the 2016 Summer Olympics together with Thomas Plößel.

During an Olympic test event in Rio de Janeiro Heil was infected by multi-resistant germs, which may have been caused by waste water from the city's hospitals running into the sea near the Olympic venues.[1]
