Ernest Marklew (16 April 1874 – 14 June 1939) was a British Labour Party politician.

At the 1935 general election, Marklew was elected as Member of Parliament (MP) for Colne Valley in West Yorkshire, defeating the sitting Liberal Party MP, Lance Mallalieu. At the previous election, in 1931, the sitting MP had been Labour Chancellor of the Exchequer Philip Snowden, who had joined Ramsay Macdonald in forming a National Government, and in a disastrous year for Labour, Mallalieu had been elected as a supporter of the National Government. In 1935, Marklew won the seat with a majority of 3,779 votes.

He died in office in 1939.
