Erode Nagaraj is a professional player of the Mrudangam instrument. He learned initially from Palladam V. Ramachandran and has been the disciple of Umayalpuram K. Sivaraman for over 14 years.

He has been a lecturer in the Thanjavur Vaidyanatha Iyer School for Percussion in Chennai. He also conducts online classes for performers and students in the United States, United Kingdom, France and other countries.

He has accompanied artists in various venues
