Este mundo is the second album from Rupa & the April Fishes. Coming back to their listeners just a year after the release of their debut album EXtraOrdinary rendition (album), the band continues their progression of uniquely tasteful sounds from across the globe. The familiar sounds of the Indian ragas, gypsy swing and French chanson are no stranger to Rupa's second disc, but they haven't settled for a repeat. The new album adds new sounds like that of the Colombian cumbia, while commenting on life's "accidental beauty" and the celebration that should follow. The album addresses themes such as death, art, and the state of artificial dependence we, as a society, our enamored with.
