The Eugene Youth Symphony is the major youth orchestra serving Eugene, Oregon, United States and its outlying areas. Founded in 1934, the Eugene Youth Symphony is the second-oldest youth orchestra west of the Mississippi. The Eugene Youth Symphony is funded by Arts Umbrella (now known as the Eugene Springfield Youth Orchestras), a Eugene-based non-profit organization that provides arts education opportunities for children in Lane County, OR. The Eugene Youth Symphony performs several concerts annually and is conducted by Dr. Jason Duckles.
