Swash (appliance)
Fabric Freshener is a small home appliance marketed by the Whirlpool Corporation. It was first launched in September 2005. The product is a steamer/dryer that through a patented technology uses distilled water to remove odors and wrinkles from garments and proposes saving money by reducing the number of required trips to the dry cleaners.
The Fabric Freshener was given an Industrial Design Excellence Award (IDEA) for Consumer Product in 2005.[1]
In its January 2006 issue, Good Housekeeping honored The Fabric Refresher with its prestigious "Good Buy" award. The award recognizes ground-breaking technology and innovation that makes people's lives easier.[2][3]
The Fabric Freshener has appeared or been mentioned on numerous television & print media avenues including the CBS Early Show, The Washington Post and The Wall Street Journal. [4][5]
