"Falling"
Song

"Falling" is a song by American group Haim. The song was released in the United Kingdom on February 12, 2013. It is the third single from their upcoming debut studio album Days Are Gone. The song has peaked at number 30 on the UK Singles Chart.

Music video

A music video to accompany the release of "Falling" was first released onto YouTube on February 19, 2013 at a total length of four minutes and eleven seconds.[1] The video was shot in the hills near Pasadena, California. [2] The video's director was Tabitha Denholm, formerly of the band Queens of Noize. [2]

Critical reception

Lewis Corner of Digital Spy gave the song a positive review stating:

Despite the Hipstamatic filter that shrouds their model-like glances and au fait style, the girls are heavily supported by major label Polydor and Jay-Z's management firm Roc Nation. "I hear the voices and they're calling for me now/ And nothing's gonna wake me now," they sultrily profess over '80s-inspired clanks and prowling funk grooves. The end result is a gloriously wistful jam that, regardless of the machine behind them, makes Haim one of the more exciting pop acts for 2013.[3]
