Federico Gaio (born 5 March 1992 in Faenza, Italy) is an Italian professional tennis player. He competes mainly in the Challenger Tour and ITF circuit. He has seven ITF singles titles and three ITF doubles titles.[2] He reached his career high singles ranking of World No. 158 in August 2016 after winning his maiden singles challenger title, defeating the heavily favoured Tomasz Bellucci 76, 62 at the Biella Challenger in Italy

He played his first ATP main draw match in the 2015 Rome Open after gaining entry as a wildcard.
