Fight the Sky is a four-piece post-hardcore group originating from Sacramento, California, most well known for being the heavier side project of Papa Roach vocalist, Jacoby Shaddix[1]
History
Fight the Sky was conceived in the winter of 2002 between long time friends Wade Khail (guitar), Jay Ingram (drums), and Ali Abrishami (guitar). Khail and Ingram had been long time fixtures on the Sacramento music scene, Khail being guitar technician for Jerry Horton since 1997 and Ingram running Ascensive Marketing & Promotions. In early 2003, the three started writing what would become their debut album, Seven Deadly Songs.
Working with longtime friend/producer Jacoby Shaddix, the band entered Velvet Tone Studios in Sacramento, California in January and February 2004. Since the recording of their album, no news of the band have been posted, with no date for the release of their album.

- Fight the Sky's drummer, Jay Ingram, appears in two Papa Roach videos, "Last Resort" and in the United States version of "Time and Time Again".
- Fight the Sky's singer, Jacoby Shaddix originally called himself 'J. Doe'; and goes on to cover or distort his face in all released images of the band. This is especially odd as he broadcasted the band in 2003 under his Papa Roach persona.
