Emily Carr's watercolour Indian Encampment, Vancouver (circa 1908-9). The painting shows the old Kitsilano Indian Reserve on the south side of False Creek, which is today's Vanier Park. It has an estimate of $50,000 to $70,000. It will be on display from Oct. 28 to Oct. 31 at a preview at the Heffel Gallery, 2247 Granville. It will be auctioned Nov. 22 in Toronto.
