English: The increase in the retirement age (red) proposed by the government of the Russian Federation occurs in the context of a decrease in life expectancy (blue) due to the economic genocide in the 1990s. This combination leads to the fact that a significant proportion of men pay contributions to the Pension Fund, but does not live up to the age of retirement. The previous retirement age is shown in green.
