English: The Sarcophagus of Portonaccio, a work probably carved during the Mac Aurelius time for a Roman general representing scenes of battles between the Romans and the Germans and the Sarmatians, as well as scenes from the life of this soldier - Palazzo Massimo alle Terme, Rome (Italy).
Français : Le Sarcophage de Portonaccio, œuvre vraisemblablement sculptée à l’époque de Mac-Aurèle pour un général romain représentant des scènes de batailles entre les romains et les germains et les sarmates, ainsi que des scènes de la vie de ce militaire. Ouvre conservée au Palais Massimo des Thermes qui fait parti du musée national romain (Rome, Latium, Italie).
