English: 110813-N-XQ375-361 GULF OF ADEN (Aug. 13, 2011) Crew members aboard the Sri Lankan-flagged cargo vessel Al Habib raise a bag of supplies from a visit, board, search and seizure team from the guided-missile destroyer USS Mitscher (DDG 57) and a Coast Guard advanced interdiction team in a rigid hull inflatable boat. Mitscher responded to Al Habib's distress call and provided two three-gallon containers of water, four cases of bottled water, and 20 loaves of bread to the 17 crew members. Mitscher is deployed to the U.S. 5th Fleet area of responsibility conducting maritime security operations and support missions as part of Operations Enduring Freedom and New Dawn.
