The 13th Street Presbyterian Church at 143 West 13th Street between Sixth and Seventh Avenues in the Greenwich Village neighborhood of Manhattan, New York City, was built in 1847, with the Greek Revival design attributed to Samuel Thomson, based on the Theseion in Athens. The church was rebuilt twice after fires, in 1855 and 1902, and in 1910 changed its name to the Greenwich Presbyterian Church after it merged with the Fourteenth Street Presbyterian Church. Later, it changed again to the Village Presbyterian Church. From 1954-1973 the building was shared with the Brotherhood Synagogue, and the church's name was changed to the Village Community Church. Conflicts betweem the congregations because of the Yom Kippur War caused a break-up. The church closed in 1975, and in 1982 the building was converted to apartments by Stephen B. Jacobs & Assocs. It is now called Portico Place. The building is located in the Greenwich Village Historic District.
