Description
English: Row houses, located at 1441–1443 Q Street, N.W., in the Logan Circle neighborhood of Washington, D.C. Built in 1880, the Italianate-style homes are contributing properties to the Fourteenth Street Historic District, listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1994.


Previous occupants of 1441 Q Street, N.W., (right) include U.S. Representative Ernest Mark Pollard, attorney and Cosmos Club member David A. Chambers, writer David Chambers Mearns, and the National Motorcycle Retailers Association. Previous occupants of 1443 Q Street, N.W., (left) include U.S. Representative Edwin William Keightley, physicians Mary L. Wooster and Walter Mallery Wooster, botanist Elmer Drew Merrill, botanist Frank Lamson-Scribner, chemist Henry Newlin Stokes, the Oriental Esoteric Society of Washington, D.C.'s Oriental Esoteric Center, and minister James Clarence Olden.
