Significance: Ultramarine blue and golden yellow are the Air Force colors. Blue alludes to the sky, the primary theatre of Air Force operations. Yellow refers to the sun and the excellence required of Air Force personnel. The mountains symbolize Nevada, the unit's base of operation. The hawk, noted for its speed, signifies the airborne mission. The beam of light refers to the ever vigilant nature of the unit. Motto: Battle Born Battle Tested. |
