Description
English: Cover flown on June 18, 1877 "Buffalo" balloon flight from Nashville to Gallatin, Tennessee. One of three covers recorded. 5-cent Buffalo balloon airmail label affixed with additional 3-cents of postage stamps to pay for delivery to final destination; St. Louis MO.
Hammer price realised was US $415,000.
