Summary

Description
English: Only known surviving Brown quadricycle. Sold in 1899 by Brown Brothers Ltd of Great Eastern Street, London, UK. It is powered by a 2.25hp De Dion Bouton engine which has an air cooled cylinder and an unusual air and water cooled cylinder head. The power is transmitted through a Bozier two speed gearbox. The Brown quadricycle has a top speed of about 25mph (40kph). The vehicle has completed many London to Brighton Veteran Car Runs since being restored to running order in 1982.
