Summary

Description

A familiar sight from trips to Denmark in the 1980s and 1990s were the NOHAB built MZ class. Many found their way to other operators and some in Sweden. 4 were acquired by Railcare who were formed in in 2016 when Railcare Logistics and Three T merged into Railcare T. The company specialises in operating infrastructure maintenance trains and hiring locomotives and drivers to other companies.

The loco seen here was formerly DSB's MZ 1405 and reclassified TMZ. Seen on 19 July 2023 at Kiruna.
