Description
English: This is a soap box racer that ran in the inaugural Kinsmen Coaster Classic in Montreal, Quebec, Canada in 1938. Constructed and piloted by Hans Gruninger from Trois-Rivières, QC, the entry won the Best Looking Car Award in the class A category. Named Condor, it featured the nascent Speedbird logo for Britian's Imperial Airways, later BOAC. Illustration by Bill Wrigley
