Summary

Description
English: The 1951 Cunningham C3 prototype (#5206X) at the 2015 Carmel Tour d'Elegance, August 13, 2015. The coupé bodywork was based on that of a C2 but after lots of trouble, finishing the car was outsourced to Vignale. The car was bought by Carl Kiekhaefer of Mercury Marine, who later had "5206" applied to a regular C3 Vignale Coupé to dodge taxes; this car is now referred to as 5206X.
