Deutsch: BERLIN 28.04.2012 Das Gelände des Elektronen- Speicherring BESSY der einzigen deutschen Synchrotronstrahlungsquelle der dritten Generation in Berlin-Adlershof. Die Berliner Elektronenspeicherring-Gesellschaft für Synchrotronstrahlung (BESSY) stellt diese Synchrotronstrahlung für die internationale Forschung und Industrie bereit. Das Helmholtz-Zentrum Berlin ( HZB ) ist aus der Fusion des ehemaligen Hahn-Meitner-Instituts Berlin ( HMI ) und der Berliner Elektronenspeicherring-Gesellschaft für Synchrotronstrahlung (BESSY) hervorgegangen.
