| Description |
The new third generation Saga is still based on the second gen platform, hence the model code 'BT'. It is worth noting that the second gen Saga is based on an extended Savvy platform. In one way or another, the 2016 Saga can trace its roots to the 2005 Savvy. Be that as it may, Proton has done considerable re-engineering on the old platform. The front and rear overhangs have been extended, and the driving dynamics have further improved. The entire 'top hat' or body structure is new. No exterior panels have been carried over from the second gen Saga. |
