English: Krupp drawing of 24 cm RK L/22 gun on pivot casemate ship mount. The higher resolution original in the book allowed to doublecheck the L/22 length of the gun with the carriage length of 5,308 mm given on the drawing. This established that this is indeed the gun later known as 24 cm RK L/22.
Nederlands: Krupp tekening van 24 cm RK L/22 kanon op affuit voor kazemat schepen. Het hoge resolutie origineel in het boek geeft de affuit lengte duidelijk als 5.308 mm. Hierdoor kon gecontroleerd worden dat het hier inderdaad om het later als 24 cm RK L/22 bekend staande kanon gaat. |
