English: 3 pounder light gun of British origin. Used a lot during the campaigns of Portugal and Spain (1808-1813). This copy was offered to the city of Tournai by colonel Lecharlier in 1835 in recognition of the services provided by the volunteers in Tournai within the Belgian legion which was sent to serve Portugal in 1833.
