Summary

Description 80-G-77199: The German captain, August Maus, of U 185 and U 604 survivors onboard USS Core (CVE 13). They are being directed by the Master-At-Arms. Incident #4082. Released August 24, 1943. Official U.S. Navy photograph, now in the collections of the National Archives. (2017/01/10).
