Summary

Description A U.S. Navy Douglas A-4L Skyhawk (BuNo 147706) from U.S. Naval Reserve Attack Squadron VA-209 launching from the aircraft carrier USS Franklin D. Roosevelt (CVA-42), in 1970. VA-209 was a short-lived squadron, it was established on 1 July 1970 and decommissioned again on 15 August 1971. The A-4L 147706 was retired to the MASDC as 3A0480 on 22 April 1976. Later it was sold Malaysia.
