Description U.S. Marine Corps Grumman A-6A Intruder (BuNo 155706) from Marine All-Weather Attack Squadron VMA(AW)-533 awaits arming on a taxiway at Nam Phong Royal Thai Air Base. The squadron, commanded by Maj. Ronald E. Merrihew, departed the "Rose Garden" (as Nam Phong was called) for Marine Corps Air Station Iwakuni, Japan, on 31 August 1973.
