English: This image, acquired by one of the Copernicus Sentinel-2 satellites on 20 September 2021, shows the lava flow generated by the eruption of Cumbre Vieja, a volcano located on the western flank of the island of La Palma, in the Canary Islands (Spain). The volcano erupted on 19 September, preceded by a magnitude 4.5 earthquake. More than 5,500 people were evacuated and hundreds of buildings were destroyed. The eruption is the object of an activation of the rapid mapping module of the Copernicus Emergency Management Service.

Conditions regarding use
Access to GMES dedicated data [...] shall be given for the purpose of the following use in so far as it is lawful:
reproduction;
distribution;
communication to the public;
adaptation, modification and combination with other data and information;
any combination of points (a) to (d).
GMES dedicated data [...] may be used worldwide without limitations in time.
Conditions regarding information to be given by users
When distributing or communicating GMES dedicated data [...] to the public, users shall inform the public of the source of that data and information.
Users shall make sure not to convey the impression to the public that the user’s activities are officially endorsed by the Union.
Where that data or information has been adapted or modified, the user shall clearly state this.
Absence of warranty
GMES dedicated data and GMES service information are provided to users without any express or implied warranty, including as regards quality and suitability for any purpose.
