Summary

Adolf Beck (1863-1942), Polish neurophysiologist. This photograph is more than 100 years old, as portaiting Beck in times of his early studies (~1890). It appears in the book "A History of the Electrical Activity of the Brain" by Mary A. B. Brazier, and in some other articles, without any (c) mark. This scan comes from the cover of the Alma Mater magazine http://www3.uj.edu.pl/alma/alma/61/01/24.html archive copy at the Wayback Machine. I emailed them about copyrights and of course got no response. Given all that I hope this photograph can be safely assumed as PD.
