Description
English: Adolph Leutgert, a Chicago businessman, was accused in 1897 of murdering his wife Louisa and disposing of her remains in his sausage factory. Leutgert's first trial ended in a hung jury; at the second he was convicted of murder and sentenced to life in prison. He died there less than two years later.
