Rumi de la foto: "La foto es de Perú, de las campañas que se hicieron para relevar Líneas de base de la biodiversidad en las áreas donde pasaban o proyectaban el paso de oleoductos. ... los caracoles se activan desde el anochecer hasta el amanecer, entonces, generalmente con los herpetólogos, usabamos las mismas transectas para recorrer la selva de noche... el fondo de la foto es una negrura absoluta por la cobertura vegetal tan espesa. Así que usaba la linterna de minero como un puntero para encontrar los caracoles, todos vestidos con camisetas de mangas largas, botas, medias, pantalón largo, pañuelo al cuello, guantes y sombrero, para evitar las picaduras o mordeduras. Eso si lo que mataba es la calor y la humedad! |
