English: Alfreton & Mansfield Parkway, newly reopened station 1973 View southward, towards Trent, Nottingham etc. on the ex-Midland Erewash Valley main line. Formerly 'Alfreton & South Normanton', which was closed 2/1/67 (goods 2/10/67), it was rebuilt and reopened 7/5/73 as 'Alfreton & Mansfield Parkway', then plain 'Alfreton' in 1995 when Mansfield came back on the system on the renovated Robin Hood Line from Nottingham. |
