Summary

Description
English: The largest operational base in the Air Force today, Amberley commenced operations in 1940. During World War II, Amberley housed training and maintenance units, in addition to a large number of US Army Air Force units. After World War II, Amberley became the home of the RAAF's bomber squadrons, a role which continues to the present day.
