The Ames tavern in Dedham, Massachusetts, was owned by w:Nathaniel Ames from 1735 until his death, and thereafter by his widow. It was demolished in 1817. This image, based on the memory of Dedham's oldest inhabitant in 1891, was drawn by Annie Richards Fisher Thayer.
