Description
English: Photomicrograph of amyloid in a thin section of liver that has been stained with the dye Congo Red. When viewed with crossed polarizing light filters, amyloid glows with a typical orange-greenish birefringence. The photo was taken with a 20X microscope objective; the scale bar is 100 microns (0.1mm). Proteopathy
