This diagram image could be re-created using vector graphics as an SVG file. This has several advantages; see Commons:Media for cleanup for more information. If an SVG form of this image is available, please upload it and afterwards replace this template with {{vector version available|new image name}}.
It is recommended to name the SVG file “Analemma asymmetry.svg”—then the template Vector version available (or Vva) does not need the new image name parameter.
Summary
DescriptionAnalemma asymmetry.png
English: In this image, the analemma for planet Earth is plotted with width highly exaggerated, which permits noticing that it is very slightly asymmetrical (due to the two-week misalignment of the apsides of the Earth's orbit and its solstices). On November 3 the equation of time can be up to 16min 23sec fast; on February 12 it can be up to 14min 20sec slow.
