"Improvisation", by Andrew Dasburg, painted c. 1915-1916. (Citation on the date: JSTOR and Store.) This painting may be one of the nine he showed in "The Forum Exhibition of Modern American Painters" organized by The Forum magazine and held in the Anderson Galleries in New York City March 13 - 25, 1916. Many of those have disappeared or been destroyed. It was exhibited at the latest in 1922. JSTOR
