Summary

Description It is currently believed that the arctic tern makes the longest migration of any other bird species, spending the summer in the Arctic and winter in the Antarctic every year. This also means the arctic tern sees more sunlight each year than any other animal, since it essentially experiences a "second summer" down south in the Antarctic.
