English: (L to R) Lieutenant Colonel Ben Reehal, Brigadier 'Patch' Reehal and Marine Patrick ReehalBrigadier Patch Reehal MBE has served in the Army for over 27 years and is now Commander 101 Operational Sustainment Brigade (101 LOG X)– the Brigade who is responsible for all the logistic support to the Army Concentration Areas for the preparation of the Coronation of Their Majesties King Charles III and Queen Camilla, as they also did for both HRH The Duke of Edinburgh and HM The Queen’s funerals.Lieutenant Colonel Ben Reehal, Brig Patch’s brother, is the Commanding Officer of 27 Regt RLC, the Regt directly involved in delivering the real life and logistic support to the Concentration Areas and under the command of the Brigadier.Brig Patch’s son (also Patch) is a Royal Marine having joined straight from school (A Levels) and was presented with his green beret by his father the Brig at his passing out parade recently (Brig Patch spent the first five years of service initially with the Commando Logistic Regiment RM) and will be marching as part of the Marines contingent in the Coronation Parade.Family military history goes back 300 years through WW1, Boer War, India etc.The family hale from Meifod, Powys, Wales. |
