DescriptionAsks US Japanese Lose Citizenship New York Times 1942-06-27.png
English: A New York Times article reporting a suit by a California group seeking to revoke the US citizenship of US-born Japanese-Americans. The plaintiffs hoped the case would give the Supreme Court an opportunity to repudiate the 1898 Wong Kim Ark decision which granted citizenship to virtually everyone born in the US.
