Magyar: 1915-ben az aktuális haditengerészeti lobogót Ferenc József kiegészítette a magyar címer vörös-ezüst sávjaival. Az új hadilobogóról az 1915. október 11-én kelt Legfelsőbb Uralkodói jogszabály rendelkezett a haditengerészet új címerével együtt, melyet előzetesen Ausztria, Magyarország és az Uralkodó egyaránt elfogadott. "Akarom, hogy Hadseregem zászlaja és Haditengerészetem lobogója közjogilag megfelelő jelképe legyen annak a kapcsolatnak, mely a Pragmatica Sanctio alapján az Osztrák-Magyar Monarchia két állama között fennáll! Jóváhagyom tehát, hogy ... A színek alkalmazása tekintetében változatlan tengerészeti lobogón az Ausztriai-Ház címere és pajzsa mellett az ősi magyar vörös-fehér címer ábrázoltassék! ... A Haditengerészet, még egy meghatározandó napon, ugyan abban az órában felvonja a lobogót, amely átveszi Hajórajom minden dicső hagyományát. Az ezek alapján szükségesek végrehajtásával Hadügyminiszteremet és Haditengerészetem parancsnokát bízom meg. Kelt Bécsben, 1915. évi október hó 11-én. Ferenc József s. k."[1] Az új lobogó rendszeresítését - az Uralkodó elhalálozása miatt - a háború befejezéséig elnapolták.
English: In 1915, the current naval ensign of the Austro-Hungarian Navy was amended by the October 11th decree of Franz Joseph I with the coat of arms of Hungary. However, the actual installation of the new flag was postponed to the time following the war, because of the death of the Emperor. |
