Summary

Description
Čeština: Znak obce Bítovany: Ve zlatém štítě nad modrou vlnitou patou kosmo červený plod kotvice, z něhož vyrůstají dva odkloněné zelené listy. Figury ve štítu mají vztah k chráněnému území rybníka Farář – modrá vlnitá pata štítu – a k vzácnému výskytu rostliny kotvice plovoucí – plod (ořech) a listy. Dva listy symbolizují, že obec tvoří dvě části. Zlatá je inspirována chráněnou geologickou lokalitou jílovitých a kvádrových pískovců ve stejném chráněném území.

Návrh byl zpracován panem Stanislavem Kasíkem, heraldická kancelář DAUPHIN, Roudnice nad Labem. 29.4.2010 byl obci předán dekret v Poslanecké sněmovně paní Miroslavou Němcovou, 1. místopředsedkyní PS.
