Nederlands: Foto uit de collectie Huizinga van het NIOD. Een uitzinnige menigte begroet de binnenrijdende voertuigen van de Canadese militairen en later van de Prinses Irene Brigade te Den Haag, op de vroege avond van 8 mei 1945. Menno Huizinga was onderdeel van de Ondergedoken Camera en maakte illegaal foto’s tijdens de bezetting. Dit deed hij hoofdzakelijk in zijn woonplaats Den Haag.
