Deutsch: Das Wappen wurde der Gemeinde zuletzt am 13. Oktober 1982 durch Erlass der Exekutive der Deutschsprachigen Gemeinschaft verliehen. Das Wappen zeigt vorn das Luxemburger Wappen und hinten symbolisiert es die Amel.
English: The arms were officially granted on October 14, 1938 and confirmed on October 13, 1982. Historically the area belonged to the Duchy of Luxembourg, hence the lion of Luxembourg in the right half of the arms. The left half shows the Amel river, which is named after the village.
