Description
English: Train from Chester entering Barmouth station.
View SE, towards Morfa Mawddach and Machynlleth/Dolgellau etc.; ex-Cambrian Railway Welsh Coast lines, also ex-GWR Dolgellau - Ruabon line. The train has come from Chester via Ruabon and is bound for Pwllheli, headed by Churchward 43XX 2-6-0 No. 6301 (built 12/20, withdrawn 10/62); another 43XX is on the left. In the distance is the Mawddach Estuary and beyond are the slopes of Cader Idris. Note the vintage road coaches on the right.
