Deutsch: Südansicht der Erdgasstation in Baumgarten an der March, ein Ortschaft in der niederösterreichischen Gemeinde Weiden an der March.
Die Erdgasstation Baumgarten wird von Gas Connect Austria und der Trans Austria Gasleitung gemeinsam betrieben. Jährlich werden 40 Mrd. m³ Erdgas übernommen (Stand: 2019), zum Teil verdichtet, aufbereitet und sternförmig nach Österreich (20 %) und in die Nachbarländer (80 %) weiterverteilt. Unter anderem werden zwei Verdichterstationen betrieben. Die Ursprünge der Anlage gehen bis 1959 zurück, als man auf dem Gelände eine Erdgas-Sammelstation errichtete: [1], [2]. 1968 kam erstmals Gas aus Westsibirien in der Gasstation Baumgarten in Niederösterreich an: [3].
